what if a symphonic orchestra plays selected sierra tracks live?
this was one of my greatest dreams, until I discovered such a concert can actually be synthetized, with expensive vst magic and some audio engineering.
we're not hans zimmers here, but we could try, I think.
here are some of my drafts to show the idea:

sit back and enjoy (if my bad mixing skills won't interfere with your enjoyment).

Wow, I'm speechless..

This is the first fan project outside of QuestStudios and SMC I've liked in quite some time, if not close to ever.

I salute you, Sir, thankyou very much. Job well done indeed!

Please keep this work coming! I'd love to hear absolutely anything more you've got.

Also, please let me know what sound banks you're using! (And how much memory you need to use them Tongue )

thanks for the feedback.
actually i'm pretty sure this could sound much better if i had any experience in mixing and mastering.
i used mainly East West Quantum Leap VST libraries, such as Symphonic Orchestra Gold and Stormdrum (don't ask how i acquired them;). i can't remember what i used for the acoustic guitar (i made this quite some time ago), but guitar parties are pretty easy in these tracks, so they should be recorded live (as soon as i get a decent mic).

two gigs of RAM should do the trick, even with a dated cpu (loading times may be slower, though).

oh and I'd love to get some properly recorded MIDI tracks. i used the quest studios ones, and they've got this bad habit of having multiple patches on one track.

WOW.

Just... WOW.

While I'm sure they could use some polishing, they are an absolutely delight for anyone wondering how Sierra music would sound as played by a full-blown 'professional' orchestra.

I echo Alistair's sentiments: Please, PLEASE continue!
